To upgrade, go to Profile > Settings > Subscription and select 'Upgrade Plan'. Choose your desired plan and payment frequency. If upgrading mid-cycle, you'll be charged the prorated difference and your billing date will adjust accordingly.
Invoices are automatically sent to your email after each payment. You can also download past invoices from Profile > Settings > Billing History. Each invoice includes your purchase details, payment method, and transaction ID.
Timer Usage
You can customize work time, short break, and long break durations in the Settings panel. Click the gear icon, go to Timer Settings, and adjust the intervals according to your needs. Although the classic technique uses 25 minutes of work, some prefer 50-minute sessions or shorter 15-minute intervals.
Yes, you can pause the timer by clicking the pause button. However, for the Pomodoro technique to be most effective, it's recommended to work through the entire 25-minute interval without interruptions. If you must pause, try to keep it brief and resume as soon as possible.
To enable notifications, go to Settings and toggle on 'Notifications'. Your browser will ask for permission to send notifications. Once enabled, you'll receive alerts when a pomodoro or break ends, even if PomoDomate is running in a background tab.
By default, a long break occurs after completing 4 pomodoro sessions. You can customize this interval in the Settings. The long break is typically 15-30 minutes and is essential for deep mental recovery.
Yes, the timer continues running even when the tab is in the background or your screen is locked on mobile. You'll receive notifications when the timer ends (if you've enabled notifications). On mobile browsers, keeping the tab active will ensure the timer works reliably.
Getting Started
A Pomodoro timer is a time management tool based on the Pomodoro Technique created by Francesco Cirillo. It works by dividing work into 25-minute intervals called 'pomodoros', followed by short 5-minute breaks. After completing 4 pomodoros, you take a longer break of 15-30 minutes. This method helps maintain focus and prevent mental burnout.
Getting started is easy! Simply click the start button on the main page to begin your first pomodoro. You can use PomoDomate as a guest without creating an account. If you want to save your progress and unlock achievements, create a free account by clicking 'Sign Up' in the top menu.
Yes, PomoDomate offers a fully functional free plan that includes the Pomodoro timer, basic session tracking, 5 simultaneous tasks, and customizable themes. For users who want advanced features like detailed statistics, weekly challenges, and cloud sync, we offer accessible premium plans.
No, registration is not required. You can use PomoDomate as a guest and your data will be saved locally in your browser. However, creating a free account allows you to sync your statistics across devices, participate in weekly challenges, and access advanced productivity analytics.
Data & Privacy
If you're using guest mode, your data is stored locally in your browser. If you have an account, your data is securely stored in our cloud database (Supabase) with end-to-end encryption. We never share your personal data with third parties.
Yes, if you have an account, your progress automatically syncs across all devices. Simply log in with your account on any device, and your statistics, tasks, achievements, and settings will be available. Guest mode data is device-specific and doesn't sync.
Yes, you can export your session history and statistics. Go to Profile > Settings > Data Management and click 'Export Data'. You'll receive a JSON file containing all your pomodoro sessions, achievements, and statistics. This feature is available for both free and premium users.
In guest mode, your data is stored locally in your browser's local storage. This means your progress is saved on your current device, but won't sync to other devices. If you clear your browser data, your progress will be lost. We recommend creating an account to keep your data safe.
Technical Support
PomoDomate works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of your browser. Mobile browsers are also fully supported on iOS and Android devices.
Currently, PomoDomate is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works great on mobile browsers. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Native iOS and Android apps are in development and will be available soon!
The timer functionality works offline thanks to PWA technology. However, features that require server communication (syncing data, loading new challenges, updating leaderboards) require an internet connection. Your sessions will sync automatically once you're back online.
